Description: DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Regional Director of Kingston, the Kingston Brand & Marketing Manager is responsible for advertising events and activities on social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, with quality content on a weekly basis. They will communicate with the Director of Brand & Marketing to update the Trek for Teens website along with any other media spaces including the monthly newsletters. Through this position, the candidate will truly be able to help the greater community while gaining knowledge about youth homelessness and skills in event coordination, leadership, and volunteer organization. Kingston Event Manager

Description: DESCRIPTION This position reports to the Regional Director of Kingston. You will help with the logistical planning and execution of Kingston region Trek for Teen events. The Kingston Event Manager will work closely with other members of the leadership team to ensure that event planning is completed efficiently and on time including initial planning, budget proposals and execution. They are encouraged to take initiative and are welcome to plan their own events based on their passions and skills. Kingston Sponsorship Manager

Description: DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Regional Director of Kingston, the Kingston Sponsorship Manager is responsible for all sponsorship opportunities for the Kingston region of the Trek for Teens Foundation. The Kingston Sponsorship Manager will seek out opportunities to promote the Trek for Teens Foundation mission through various monetary and in-kind sponsorships. This position requires consistent collaboration with various directors and departments. This is a sponsorship position in the organization that requires attendance at all regional sponsorship team meetings. The ideal candidate will be passionate, hardworking, and interested in sponsorship, corporate relations, and fundraising. The candidate will also have excellent communication skills. Through this position, the candidate will truly be able to help the greater community while gaining hands-on experience. Kingston Leadership & Outreach Manager

They are responsible for delivering school presentations, workshops, and campaigns to help raise funds, in-kind donations, and awareness for homeless youth. The Kingston Leadership & Outreach Manager will also ensure proper tracking of volunteers and encourage participation in Trek for Teens events. This position in the organization requires attendance at all of the regional team meetings. The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate project needs, prioritize duties and help the organization in achieving its goals and missions. The ideal candidate will be an effective team player and add value to the team by creative approaches to making the events hosted by the Kingston region successes. SuperWalk Volunteer Coordinator

They champion and lead the coordination of SuperWalk in communities, from start to finish, with support from Parkinson Canada. They support the organizing committee and ensure a positive experience for event participants. You will solicit sponsors in conjunction with the Sponsorship Coordinator and ensure the funds collected the day of the event are properly recorded and deposited. You will ensure all activities and actions are in alignment with the Parkinson Canada SuperWalk program and Parkinson Canada Policies. Your Contribution As a SuperWalk Coordinator, your people-skills, enthusiasm, and talent for organizing make you an excellent community facilitator. You enjoy guiding and mentoring other volunteers and helping them excel at their tasks.
