Opportunity Description:

Do you have a friendly, well-behaved dog who loves people? We’re looking for volunteers to bring their dogs to visit seniors in our long-term care home! Many of our residents would love the chance to interact with a furry friend, and your visits can bring comfort, companionship, and joy to their day. Requirements for Dogs: 🐶 Must be well-socialized, calm, and comfortable around seniors.🐾 Up to date on vaccinations.💛 Comfortable in new environments and able to follow basic commands. Requirements for Volunteers: ✅ Must provide a Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.📄 Up-to-date immunization records.🩺 Clear results from a TB test.💖 A friendly, patient attitude and a love for bringing smiles!
