Opportunity Description:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING As the Site Lead you will be responsible for: • Supporting all Committee Leads in any event initiatives that require logistics support (securing Relay venue, tent station locations, set up and tear down, etc.) • Securing materials and overseeing the site design, set up and tear down • Planning and providing for the physical needs of activities and entertainment on event day • Coordinating the timing and location of any necessary deliveries and pick-ups for Relay event • Working with other leads to determine the site schedule for the day • Organizing the site and responding to requests from other committee members • Submitting applications and permits • For in-person events, design a track experience that will motivate participants to keep walking on event day • Security of venue and participants • Inventory of all event materials such as signs, materials, masks etc. THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY BE a part of a collective of people united by a singular focus where no Canadian fears cancer.
