Opportunity Description:

Love the arts? Volunteer at the Isabel! Play an important role with Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts team as a volunteer. Meet great people, gain experience and knowledge, and contribute to the arts! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to act as ushers, greeters, and coat check attendants at performances and events. Time Commitment: Will vary, but applicants should be able to work a minimum of 2 to 4 volunteer shifts each month, plus mandatory training on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Watch Performances: Volunteer Ushers will be given the opportunity to watch performances wherever possible and invited to attend Isabel volunteer socials. Flexibility and Enthusiasm: Volunteer Ushers need to be flexible with the duties they perform on shift, be cheerful and welcoming in disposition, able to take direction well, and use their best judgment to make patrons feel properly assisted and welcomed during their visits.
