Our community-based robotics team for high school-aged students is looking for additional technical and non-technical mentors. With W.A.F.F.L.E.S. it so so much more than “just” building robots. We help students grow their technical and business skills and all the wonderful soft skills that will help them in the future no matter what career path they choose. We are gearing up for our intense build and competition season (January-April). We meet on weeknights from 6:30-9:00 and on weekends. There is some flexibility in our schedule for volunteers. If you enjoy inspiring students and have skills in any of the following areas we hope you will consider joining our team. Programming (Java, etc.) CAD Machine Shop Strategy/statistics Marketing and social media Photography/Videography Event Planning
